What do you think, are word clouds (or tag clouds) a good way of visualising communities?

I do like word clouds. And in this kind of community it is probably better have words than pictures or the message might get a bit messy.
ReplyDeleteI think visualization of anything is important. Nowadays people's attention span is really short and people tend to switch between tasks really fast. If one sees a good graphics, it might catch attention and only this will trigger further reading.
ReplyDeleteToday we were doing a team assignment with Yuliya (also an active member of this course) and when we saw this picture we decided to experiment a little bit and create our business plan PowerPoint presentation using word clouds.
We'll keep you posted how it goes.
