Do wikis replace meetings and email attachments?
Is Social Media killing the traditional associations and organisations or will it give them a new life?
These are some of the questions to be pondered and researched trough the course.

Course Contents
Individual and team work using free on-line social media services and collaborative tools.
Learning outcomes
The student knows how to use social networking, blog publishing, microblogging services to broadcast and to communicate with targeted audiences. (S)he is also able to establish and moderate online discussion groups and wikis for knowledge and community building.
Expected workload
10h/week for beginners with no previous experience of social media (13 weeks)
Technical Requirements
Students need Google, Twitter and Facebook accounts, also access to web cam + headset for video conferencing
Assessment
The grade is based to 50% on activity, 50% on quality of input.
